Andrew is originally from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Aeronautical Engineering and a Minor in 20th Century Military History in 2019. He has been fascinated with aerodynamics since watching Formula One as a kid and doing a science fair project based on lift. Andrew interned at the Center for Automotive Research in Columbus where he designed a force balance to be used in a wind tunnel to measure the drag on the OSU SAE Supermileage team. This rolled over into his senior capstone project, where CFD simulations aligned with the experiments. Andrew is currently working on implementing simulation capabilities for the Air Force Office of Scientific Notre Dame Large Mach 6 Quiet Tunnel. In his free time, Andrew enjoys playing guitar, watching motor sports, driving/racing, hiking, and modelling.
