Taylor joined the Hypersonics Lab in Fall 2022 working under Dr. Juliano. Originally from Texas, she graduated with her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tulsa in Spring 2022. Taylor’s previous research experience includes a summer at Los Alamos National Laboratory with the Dynamics Summer School (LADSS) looking at accelerated fatigue testing of complex geometries as well as time on the oil and gas side of fluid mechanics looking at sand erosion in pipelines for Schlumberger. Her current project with the Hypersonics Lab involves investigating flow stabilization through wall heating and cooling, with the ultimate goal of creating quiet flow in the ANDLM6QT nozzle. In her free time, Taylor enjoys dancing, going on nature walks, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
