Hailing from sunny Calgary in western Canada, Andrew joined the Notre Dame Hypersonics Lab in the fall of 2019. He attended the University of Toronto and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Engineering Science, specializing in aerospace engineering. Andrew is currently working on utilizing fast-pressure-sensitive paint to investigate shock-wave/boundary-layer interactions in streamtraced Busemann and axisymmetric inlet/isolators. An emphasis is being placed on investigating the unstart process and methods to better predict it, with future applications to feedback control of scramjet inlets. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, hiking, and reading history.
