Hailing from sunny Calgary in western Canada, Andrew joined the Notre Dame Hypersonics Lab in the fall of 2019. He attended the University of Toronto and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Engineering Science, specializing in aerospace engineering. Previous experience includes an internship at the University of Oxford’s hypersonics group and a bachelor’s thesis focused on the design of a high precision hypersonic flow angularity probe. Andrew is currently working on a code to aid in hypersonic tunnel design/validation and implementing a flow angularity probe for surveys in the Large Mach 6 Quiet Tunnel. In his free time, he enjoys climbing, hiking, and reading history.
