Dan comes from the very center of the nation where he grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri in 2015 with a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace engineering. Since his graduation, he has worked as a propulsion engineer for the U.S. Air Force in the Armament Directorate of Eglin Air Force Base on the beautiful Emerald Coast of North-Western Florida. Dan was selected as a recipient of the Department of Defense Science, Mathematics, and Research Transformation (SMART) award to pursue a Master’s degree in Aerospace engineering which he began in the fall semester of 2023. His research is aimed at characterizing the size limit of test articles utilized in the Mach 6 Quiet Tunnel at the Whitefield Laboratory. He aims to apply the knowledge from this prestigious program to help protect America’s Warfighters and allies across the globe.
